Day - 1 Chennai
Arrival at Chennai airport and the company representatives will get you to the
hotel where the
arrangements
for the stay of all the guests are arranged for. In the afternoon sightseeing
tour of the city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 2 Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
Morning excursion to Kanchipuram. Proceed to Mahabalipuram.
On arrival check-in at the hotel. The city of Mahabalipuram is a city of monumental
splendors and sunny beaches. On the way, you will be visiting Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram
is one of the seven sacred cities of India and it is the only one associated
with both Shiva and Vishnu.Visit the Visit the Shore Temples and Arjuna’s
Penance. Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 3 Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry
Morning leave for Pondicherry by road. A pleasant drive to the city will also
give the outskirts of the state and one can observe the culture a tradition
there also. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Sightseeing of Pondicherry. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day - 4 Pondicherry - Trichy
Morning sightseeing of Pondicherry, it is considered to be an old Portuguese
township of Pondicherry.
Visit
the Aurobindo Ashram and other sights before checking in at the hotel. In the
afternoon take an excursion to Auroville, a powerful happening of international
integration. And later in the afternoon leave for Trichy by road visiting en-route
Chidambaram, Kumbakonam and Gangaikondacholapuram. On arrival check-in at the
hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 5 Trichy - Madurai
Morning sightseeing of city visiting Srirangam and Jambukeshwara temple. Leave
for Madurai by road. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day - 6 Madurai - Rameshwaram - Madurai
Madurai, the "city of nectar", is ancient city of Tamil Nadu which
was the home to the ancient Tamil Sangam, the literary session that produced
the first epic, Silappathikaram
Morning excursion to Rameshwaram. Rest of the day is spent at your own leisure.
In the evening visit
the
Meenakshi temple to view the Aarti done at the particular time. Overnight at
hotel.
Day - 7 Madurai - Chennai
On the last day of the tour we reach Chennai and the Morning is spent at leisure.
Later transfer to the airport to connect flight for Chennai. On arrival transfer
to the international airport to connect flight for onward journey.
