Day - 1 Bangalore
Arrival
at Bangalore the capital city of Karnataka. Meeting on assistance and transfer
to the hotel where your accommodation is arranged for. Bangalore city has a
number of tourist places. Apart from the numerous gardens, it also has some
historical sites and other places of interest that are worth visiting and seeing.The
Vidhan Sabha or the State Secretariat, built in 1954, is the main attraction
of this city.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of the city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 2 Bangalore - Nagarhole
Leave for Nagarhole by road. Stay at the Kabini River Lodge.Nagarhole is famous
about its National park that is the hub of all the wildlife that are endangered
but are preserved here.In the afternoon go on a wildlife tour in the National
park in jeeps / vans. Overnight at the lodge.
Day - 3 Nagarhole - Mysore
In the morning go on a Coracle Ride on Kabini river. The Coracle is a round
native boat. In the
afternoon leave for Mysore by road.Mysore the famous
city known for the sandalwood production and the export quality of the same.
On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Mysore visiting Mysore
palace and Chamundi hill. Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 4 Mysore
Morning excursion to Somnathpur and Shrirangapattana. Overnight at hotel.
Day - 5 Mysore - Coorg
252 kms from Bangalore and 1525 m above sea level lies Madikeri, the district
headquarters of
Kodagu.
Coorg or Kodagu(originally called Kodaimalenadu) means 'dense forest on steep
hill'.Leave for Coorg by road. On arrival check-in at hotel. Rest of the day
at leisure at Coorg. Overnight at hotel.
Day - 6 Coorg - Hassan
Morning leave for Hassan by road.Hassan is a small area near Coorg.On arrival
check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Belur and Halebid. Overnight at the hotel
Day - 7 Hassan - Bangalore
Leave for Bangalore by road visiting Shravanbelgola en-route. On arrival you
will be transferred to the international airport to connect flight for onward
journey.
