This
particular palace was built by the Dutch in the year 1744, in Ernakulam on an
island, off Cochin in the Arabian Sea. This building is considered to be huge
and magnificent towering over and definitely a site to see for every tourist.
It was also the Governors palace at one point of time and later it served
as the residence for the Britishers when they were in power. As of now, this
monumental structure is converted into one of the most prestigious hotels that
is managed by the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation.|
